What is the role of banks?

The role of banks and financial institutions in America is to be there to help americans involving the economy. They let people to take out loans in their financial struggles, and expecting twice the money that the person took out expecting the person to pay it back within time.

AIG Bailout

This article is about the AIG Bailout and how the government helped out. They thought that AIG was to big of a company to lose so thats why they helped the company financially allowing them to get a loan of $85 billion. Telling how AIG is paying back the government. They were also worried by other companies who would of been affected such as wall street if AIG went into the deep bankruptcy.

Local History Research

For local history research all I know completely is that it's going to be involving Newport. So I think I plan to research just the basic history of it and see what happened back than. I don't know exactly how I am going to layout the whole project but I'll figure it out.

Group Research Project

I am working with Amanda, Jessica, Desiree, Brandon, Taylor, and Tasha. For our group research were going to be debating about abortion. Whether were prolife or prochoice about abortion.

20% Project Idea

I think for my 20% project I want to learn about the crimes that happened back in the 1900's or earlier such as the mafia, or anytype of major crimes that happened back than. As for the form of the project I'm still not sure of but I'll figure that out at one point. Why I want to do this project is because Im interested in that kind of subject especially the whole mafia or mobs they just interest me and i just want to learn more about that. Ive seen to mafia movies Mobsters and Public Enemies and their really good so those really caught my interest in that crime type of thing. Also i think its just because from my moms side of the family shes from new york and also italian and the mafia was basically the italians so I want to learn more about the background of italians and the mafias. But basically any type of major crime that happened back than really does interest me.
